For the first time in history, all four #1 seeds made the Final Four. These four teams, North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas, and UCLA were the four best teams throughout the entire season. All four were preseason picks to win their conference titles. All four won their conference titles. All four won their conference tournament title, as well.

North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, and Memphis went a combined 143-9 on the season. Each team may be at their season’s peak and each team certainly earned the right to play in San Antonio. Memphis really turned on the heat in their last two games. UCLA had little trouble, except for the Texas A&M game. UNC rolled through everybody, then outplayed Louisville in the Elite 8, and Kansas did the same, finally ending Davidson’s magical run in a tough game.

What may have been a forgettable NCAA Tournament will definitely be a memorable last weekend. This is the dream Final Four that every fan has been waiting to see. Three of the four teams have a combined 16 National Championships, but Memphis may have the most talent of the four which could earn them their first. They’ll take on UCLA a little after 6pm EST on Saturday. Kansas will match up against UNC following that contest.

Looks to be one of, if not, the best Final Four since high schoolers started skipping college in normalcy about 15 years ago. Many huge storylines await, but maybe none bigger than Roy Williams meeting his old program in Kansas. It was just a matter of time before this game happened, but 5 years in the making, you better believe it’ll be worth the wait.

Can’t wait! I will make some predictions as the week goes on. You know you can use those and no doubt choose the opposite when you lay money out in the Sportsbooks in Vegas.
